Notice is hereby given to all members and associate members, that the Annual Seminar and General Meeting of the Combined Disabilities Association (CDA) will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 commencing at 8:30 a.m. (venue to be announced). Coffee break and lunch will be provided. The theme for this event is: “Organizational Sustainability Through increased membership participation, strong advocacy and Financial Literacy”
Please note registration fee is $500.00(Five Hundred Dollars) and will be collected on the date of the event.
The seminar will be held between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon; followed by lunch and the Annual General Meeting.
The seminar will focus on effective participation, advocacy and financial management.
An update on the Codes of Practice and Regulations will also be provided.
The purposes of the Annual General Meeting are:
To gain approval of the Agenda
To gain approval of the Minutes
To present Reports and Audited Financial statements
Elect board members/Directors
To o introduce the new Board and hear from the newly-elected Chairperson.
