Affidavit Template [In Support of Application for Protection and Occupation Order]

An affidavit is an official written statement by an individual sworn to be true under oath. Under the Domestic Violence Act, an affidavit needs to accompany one's application for a Protection Order / Occupation Order against an abuser. The affidavit and order application are then to be submitted at the nearest Family Court / Parish Court.
